Thanksgiving will soon be here.
It's nice to have a good start on Christmas long before
THANKSGIVING arrives!
It's nice to ENJOY the beauty and blessings of the season!
Here'a a new project to try!
Who doesn't love handmade Christmas Ornaments,
especially Christmas Angels?!
I found these beautiful ornaments from
"Christmas From The Heart"
(Better Homes and Garden volume 12).
If you yearn for a tree decked with abundant beauty without
sacrificing the true meaning of the season, these handmade Angel ornaments
may be what you are searching for.
Made with vellum paper and other paper crafting supplies.
You can see the ANGEL directions at:
Fringe Angel-Made with a five inch long rayon fringe tassel.
I suggest using a clothes pin taken apart for the arms,
or a small doily wrapped around the neck.
(Directions show differently).

My favorite: Finial Ornament
Made with a 12 inch length of 1/4 inch-diameter wooden dowel.

Holiday Cookies for You and Santa!

Twelve Days Of Creative Christmas
There's no place like HOME for the Holidays!
There's no place like HOME with freshly baked
CHRISTMAS COOKIES!
What started many years ago has become a Christmas Tradition at our house.
We make and decorate Christmas Cookies at the beginning of December.
Sometimes, I will freeze them and save a few for Santa!
Usually, they are gone by morning!
My kids still love it year after year!

The HOLIDAY COOKIES Magazine from Land O Lakes is available on newstands!
I love the recipes, so many of our favorites!
We are going to make the Reindeer Cookies this year!

CUTE with HOT COCOA MIX!

A favorite Sugar cookie recipe.
I refrigerate the dough for about one hour before I roll out the cookie dough.
I also double the recipe and break up the dough for
everyone to have their own sugar cookie dough with cookie cutters!
It's always a good idea to have extra rolling pins on hand.

Our Cookies look more like this!
They are made with little hands, sweet smiles with sprinkles on top!
Christmas Lollipops with sticks.
I love these! A great idea!
You can find the recipe HERE!
A FUN treat for everyone!
Great for gift baskets, neighbor gifts, school treats etc.
The recipe that I use is found  here!
You can make these cookies from a CAKE MIX!
Wilton makes a lollipop cookie pan found here.

Another Favorite-Large cupcakes with M&M's,  Candy Canes and Sprinkles!
SIMPLE, and greatly LOVED by all!
These large cucpakes are made with a large wilton muffin pan.
They are fun to decorate for everyone, especially kids!
Wathc your kids eyes go GREAT BIG when they are finished!
It happens everytime!

Ice Cream Cone Cakes, not just for Birthdays!
put Candy Canes in the top!
Great fun for Classroom School Christmas Parties!
Easy RECIPE found HERE!

Gingerbread Cookies--fun for kids!
Recipe found HERE!

Brownies will forever be a favorite.. who doesn't love a chocolate brownie?!
The fun part about receiving cookies is in the packaging!

A sweet treat for Family and Friends!
You can find the directions HERE!

Happy Crafting and Cooking with your Family!
On the 12th day of Christmas
