 PERSONALITY!
I think Kids Rooms are the funnest rooms to decorate since they portray
 a lot of
PERSONALITY!

A nursery is always filled with sweetness!

Little girls room are filled with Pink!
The psychology of color always amazes me.
  PINK .....
charming, tender, playful, delicate, sugar and spice, femine and sweet!

Here's a fun PINK craft made from clothespins that bring a lot of
Sparkle, Wimsical fun and Personality to your little girls room!
Ingredients:
wood clothes pins, tulle, ribbon, black and pink permanent marker, yarn for hair, paper for crown, pipe cleaners for arms.
Paint the body top pink, ballet shoes and cheeks pink.
add gathered tulle with a glue gun.
Attach hair with yarn to the top of the wooden clothespin.
Make crown by cutting triangles with circle on top.
Embellish with tiny pink ribbon.
You can attach your adorable creations around your child's room.
We have also attached them to hair barrettes!
You can also hang them from the ceiling with fish line.
Tiny friends find a home in tulip pockets on a pillow sham.
Sew polka-dot fabric pockets to a plain sham.
Embellish with ribbons, buttons, cute trims and bows!

Children's Artwork

Welcome to a fun Mother/ Daughter craft!
Turn your Vintage Doll and Barbie clothes into artwork! I still have a few barbie clothes from my childhood.
How about you?

Tips:
1.  Use shadow box's or a frame with some depth.
2.  The scrapbook paper works well with the card stock weight.
3.  Adhere the Barbie clothes with double stick tape.
4.  For a retro style, you can paint polka dots onto the frames.
5. Be sure to date your frames for your daughter.
6. It is also fun to include the latest fashions of today. (A keepsake for the future)

Enjoy!

Oh What Do You Do In The Summer Time?

Summer time crafts...
Tye Dye Tshirts, Go Fish, Sunshine  and Dolphins!
What fun!
The Tye Dye Tshirts were my girls favorite! We want to make more!
Roll T-shrits in a fan accordian style, wrap with three elastics, (depending on how you roll your t-shirt-you can create several different styles.)
Tye Dye paints can be found at Hobby Lobby or Michaels craft store.
Be sure to use plastic aprons or old t-shirt cover up and gloves!
Place finished T-shirt in plastic bag to DRY for 24 hours.
Wash T-shirts separate in cold water for the first two washings.
Have Fun!
Now it's time to enjoy the great outdoors!

Princess Accessories

Fit for a Princess!
Every little girl needs a handmade magical fairy princess wand to go with her "dress-up" clothes!
This is a great craft project or party favor for a little girl Birthday party! Welcome smiles and twirls!

From Fishing poles to Princess wands...remember the fish, use your leftover dowels.
Would you like to make one? Here's a easy tutorial!

Materials needed:
Dowels (Walmart craft isle or any craft store)
ribbon (wide and narrow-I used my ribbon scraps)
flowers (dollar store~I used 5-6 flowers per wand)
wire, glue sticks
buttons or jewels
bells (thread bells through narrow ribbon)
tulle (great use of tulle scraps)

1. Cut two tulle squares measuring 6" X 6".
2. Take flowers apart(take centers out of the flowers).

3. Place two flowers in the center of the tulle .

4. Pinch the tulle and flowers to a point.
5. Wrap tulle with wire on to your dowel.
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 until you have a full wand of flowers wrapped in tulle. I made 4 sets for one wand).

7. Take wide ribbon and fold the raw edge over.
8. Wrap the dowel and glue with glue gun top and bottom.
9. Embellish wand with large bow, several smaller ribbons, tulle, and buttons.
10. Thread ribbon through 3-4 bells, place in wand. (My daughter loves the bells!)

Celebrate the magical days of childhood! Enjoy!
Make a wish for the day.....I wish breakfast for my kids to magically appear!
